Homecoming

Samantha has arrived home. She, my mother & Oz traveled overnight. They left at midnight and arrived this afternoon. Samantha claimed she was going to stay up all night during the drive, but according to Mom she was out like a light within an hour on the road. We met in Roanoke and they followed me to their hotel. It was so good to see Sami's bright, smiling face!

I had really missed her a lot. She had a fabulous time and I'm always very happy for her to build wonderful memories. But... I'm always glad to get her back too!

I have the hardest time getting tripod to load up the comment page. Sorry to be so slow.

It's always great when they come home. As they get older, it doesn't take very long for you to wonder why you were so anxious for them to come home. This is more evident when they are college age. Perhaps it's mom starting to feel a bit of freedom again. But she knows I love her more than life itself.
